Welcome to the first ever Fine Wine Fair.

Fine Wine is all about taste. Here at the Fair there are literally 100s of fine wines to taste and the chance to sample some amazing gourmet treats – from the finest Iberian hams to the most delicate of Italian Chocolate.

You can discover the wide and wonderful flavours of fine wine: from the sweetness of a fresh blackcurrant to the zing of a sun drenched lemon. Fine wines add colour, smell, texture and taste. But remember what matters with wine is "I like it" and you’re much more likely to like fine wine.

Why?

Well, on a £3 bottle, the UK government takes about £2.25, the retailer takes around 60p leaving just 15p to cover the costs of shipping , bottling and of course growing and making the wine. Not much – but with fine wine costing from £10 (just about three cups of coffee!) upwards you get at least £4 worth of wine. And that means you get a range of tastes that last and develop. So much to taste and like.
